A two-month, end-to-end project reimagining AI in K-12 classrooms. I designed two full interfaces, one for students, one for teachers, grounded in five research methods, without eroding how kids learn.
A mobile-first redesign of Cornell's LibCal booking, built from a hands-on critique of the current grid, confirmation page, and the third-party Booked app, then a companion app that fixes discovery and the empty-room problem.
A semester-long qualitative study of how curiosity emerges and collapses on Instagram, built from 16 interviews, a 5-day diary study, and a two-session co-design, then translated into a low-effort app with a team of 4.
A social travel app built around remixing real itineraries. I designed the follow, remix, plan, and post loop end to end, from competitive analysis through lo-fi to a high-fi mobile product.

About
Hi, my name is Jin!
Based in New York City
Cornell University, Class of 2028
Information Science major, UI/UX
Business minor
I've always loved art and design in all forms, from sketching and painting to photography, AutoCAD, and 3D modeling. I actually began my journey as an architecture major before transitioning into product design.
What I love about both architecture and product design is the opportunity to create something from the ground up that can solve real-world problems and positively impact the people and communities around us. My background in architecture has shaped the way I think about space, accessibility, and human-centered design, while my experience in UX research and the industry has taught me the importance of understanding people before designing for them.
Today, I bring these experiences together by prioritizing thoughtful research, inclusive design, and attention to detail to create products that are not only functional, but meaningful and impactful.
